Production is rolling along really well with the books! We are reviewing some of the content to make sure it’s right, adding a few things as we find them, and are prepping for initial layout. So far we are on track, just adjusting as needed here and there. As you know, we have a BackerKit for this project, so if anyone you know is interested in picking up the book let them know they still can!

Backerkit Survey Glitch: Please log back in to review updated shipping costs!

Hello, backers, and a huge thank you to those of you who have already completed your survey from Backerkit! An extra-special thank you to those who also ordered extra copies or add-ons from the campaign. You're helping the project come to life and helping us make even more cool monsters and beasts!
You probably noticed that as you completed your survey, that it didn't charge you your correct shipping costs! I'm sad to say (as you probably expected), your shipping costs are *NOT* zero. As we mentioned in the campaign, we are collecting shipping costs through BackerKit so that we charge you the precise shipping costs based on your actual address and not an average or approximation. We do not mark up shipping costs, and you pay only the actual shipping costs to you get your items delivered to you.
We made a mistake in Backerkit and updated shipping profiles did not populate to your pledges, leading to the erroneous $0.00 shipping that you saw. This has now been fixed!
It also means that we need you to log back in to BackerKit to see your ACTUAL shipping costs. If you previously completed the survey, they are now listed on your order page. If you did not already enter your credit card information, you may need to do so now in order for your physical product to ship. If you haven't completed your Backerkit survey yet, then everything will be fine when you do!
We are so sorry for this inconvenience, and we thank you for your patience with us! I'd like to blame the glitch on a gremlin in the technology or a duwende guiding us down the wrong path, but in reality one of us probably forgot to click a checkbox, and, well, mistakes happen. Luckily, this one was found quickly and fixed right away, and it will not impact delivery of your product!

Hello, backers!
I just got the cover art from Dagmara for the Hardcover and I'm so excited about it I had to share it with backers.
Softcover versions will have the lightning snake and hexpaw cover featured on the Kickstarter, while hardcovers will have this cover, featuring the snallygaster, piasa, and wampus cat.
Backerkit surveys will launch after Labor Day, so be on the lookout in your email. We have some exciting add-ons if you are looking to give the gift of beasts for the holidays or round out your collection.

Update on what's happening with the books!

While we wait for your Kickstarter pledges to clear and the funds to disburse so we can pay our artists, designer, and developer, here is what the team is up to:
- Dagmara is drawing new interior art (stretch goal) and the cover for our 5e version
- Ffion is drawing art for the bonus (stretch goal) creatures: ball-tailed cat, piasa, and sayona.
- Our developers are working on treasure and components in both Pathfinder and 5e versions.
- Josh is planning out adventure modules for 5e and Pathfinder.
- Our graphic designer is finalizing the template and will begin laying out Pathfinder version first.
You will be receiving a BackerKit survey in a few days.

We've done it! Successfully funded, 7 stretch goals, and a whole lot of magical wonderfulness all in one fine place.
We are happy to have you in our community of creators and are excited to share what we've created together.
You should expect monthly progress reports (at the longest) until the project is fulfilled to all backers.
